Tasting Notes

Ruby red with evident purple highlights, dark and impenetrable, characterised by a tight and persistent perlage. All the fruity notes typical of Lambrusco emerge in the nose, set in a context of great intensity and elegance: strawberries, blackberries and raspberries. It is mellow in the mouth, almost sweet, sustained by a good level of acidity and unsuspectable tannins. Smooth, it closes with a slight return to fruit for a nicely persistent finish.

Pairing

Rich and slightly sweet, Otello NerodiLambrusco is a red wine to pair with rich dishes traditionally from Parma. Best with large pumpkin ravioli.

Emilia Lambrusco Rosso Frizzante IGT "Otello NerodiLambrusco" - Cantine Ceci: Why we like it

Considered to be the masterpiece of the Ceci Cellars, Otello NerodiLambrusco is the wine that has redesigned the personality of what the world has always seen as a "second class" grape. Potent, deep, engaging, this Lambrusco was born in 2003, after experimenting for years with the varietal of the masters, the most traditional grape variety of the province of Parma.
