Tasting Notes

In the glass, it shows a garnet red colour, with shades that tend to purple. The olfactory complexity on the nose is exciting, and develops on full and juicy notes of fruit, which are enriched with floral touches and slightly spicy nuances. It enters the mouth with a deep, full and satisfying sip, in which the tannins are well smoothed and integrated into the overall drinking experience.

Aconcagua Valley 2022 - Seña: Why we like it

An incredible fruity expression, clear and precise, adds to a structure that is pleasant to say the least. Concentrated, but at the same time linear and enwrapping. This is what "Seña" feels like, an expression of the Chilean Aconcagua Valley which, with this harvest, reaches truly commendable qualitative peaks, as evidenced by the excellent ratings obtained worldwide. The grapes of cabernet sauvignon, malbec, carmenere and petit verdot, once vinified, are aged for 22 months in French oak barrels and foudres. “Seña” captures the story of a winery wanted by Robert Mondavi and Eduardo Chadwick, to make the Aconcagua terroir a point of reference for world oenology: such an ambitious project, but more than ever at hand.
