Barolo Bussia DOCG 2011 - Prunotto: Why we like it

Prunotto has always accompanied its important range dedicated to the great classics of the Langhe and Monferrato, by a very important selection made with grapes from some the crus that best represent the area. Barolo Bussia is made from grapes grown in the famous vineyard of the same name, in the municipality of Monforte, about 350 metres above sea level, with southerly exposure. Vinified in steel, this great red continues ageing in oak barrels of varying sizes for 24 months, followed by a year of bottle ageing. An outstanding Barolo, symbol not only of the winery and one of the area's most important vineyards, but of the whole appellation. Elegant, decisive and very, very long, it will continue to offer surprises as the years go by. A red with an international stature.
