Tasting Notes

Straw yellow in colour, with delicious balsamic notes in the nose, reminiscent of white flowers, apricot and almond. Fresh and enveloping on the palate, characterised by a certain savouriness and lively acidity.

Also as an aperitif, it pairs well with cold or tepid, but delicate, starters, as well as boiled, steamed or grilled fish dishes.

Made from meticulously selected Turbiana, the area's autochthonous grape variety par excellence, "I Frati" is a white wine born to be drunk within the year, but which has proved capable of expressing its best after a few years spent ageing in the bottle. A historical Lugana, one of those which has changed the perception of the appellation in recent decades.
