Tasting Notes

In the glass it has a pale straw yellow color with greenish reflections. On the nose, hints of green fruit, citrus and herbaceous traces are noted in the front-row. The mouth is smooth, fresh, agile and pungent. Fresh on the finish, and dry.

Pairing

Excellent when paired with simple and fresh first courses, like tagliolini with sea bass and shrimp.

Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2021 - Babich (tappo a vite): Why we like it

This Marlborough from the Babich winery is created with a single grape variety, the sauvignon blanc. After the harvest, the grapes are immediately pressed and most of them go through alcoholic fermentation in steel. A small part ferments in new and used French barriques. An elegant, didactic and extremely significant product on how a vine as pragmatic as Sauvignon Blanc can best express itself at these longitudes and latitudes. Dry, fresh and with an undisputed herbaceous note. Recommended.
