Sagrantino di Montefalco DOCG 2011 - Antonelli: Why we like it
As elegant as it is potent, Sagrantino di Montefalco is one of the great Italian red wines. Moreover, Antonellios wine is perhaps our favourite wine from Umbria, because it perfectly unites these characteristics in a glass that contains the grape variety, the style of the cellar and the territory of Montefalco. A unique wine, excellent now but also capable of improving for years, decades, if kept properly in the cellar.
