Tasting Notes

This deep-violet red wine boasts intense fragrances of blackberry and mulberry, floral notes of violet and strong aromas of liquorice and black pepper. Whereas in the mouth it offers a full-bodied, well-structured consistency with fresh notes of berry and fine spices. Wonderfully well-balanced, it closes with a long, persistent finish.

Mandrarossa has launched a line of wines dedicated solely to celebrating the unique richness that Menfi has to offer. It is a vast region that is particularly well-suited to high-quality viticulture and is home to some one-of-kind, excellent vineyards. The Cinquanta vineyard, for example, is located atop a hill that borders the Magaggiaro forest where pine trees mingle with Mediterranean dwarf palm trees and Scotch brooms, thus making it unique in its genre. And so, this Syrah, which is left to ferment in steel tanks and age for 8 months in oak barrels, is born- a wine of great depth and smoothness and rich with Mediterranean flare.
