Taurasi DOCG "Radici" 2016 - Mastroberardino: Why we like it

As an exemplary Taurasi Aglianico wine, “Radici” essentially recounts the story of Irpinian viticulture. Year after year, grape harvest after grape harvest, Mastroberardino’s Taurasi par excellence fails to disappoint, keeping its bold dynamic personality while maintaining its full-bodied structure that have made it famous throughout the world. This sure-fire classic red is fermented in steel tanks before undergoing an extended period of maceration. After these first steps, the wine is aged in oak barrels for circa 24 months; the aging process then continues for two years after being bottled.
