This beautifully garnet-coloured red wine boasts fragrances of extremely ripe and sweet prune and blueberry against spicy undertones and hints of tobacco. In the mouth, this wine is warm with a powerful blend of tannins and great persistence.

Pairing

This wine pairs especially well with red meats, game and aged cheeses. Try it towards the end of a meal to accompany some lovely Parmigiano Reggiano.

With the perfect balance and blend of tannins and fruitiness, this wine promises great sensory appeal at least until the mid 2020s. Svoltacarrozze “04” Toscana Rosso IGT is fermented in Slavonian oak barrels for over 24 months and is completely sulphite-free. It is a wonderful sample of Sangiovese Grosso wine that fares excellently even on its own, simply to be sipped on.
