Tasting Notes

Despite its bold nature, this light yet bright straw-coloured white wine boasts refined fruity and mineral aromas. In the mouth it proves to be quite dry and fresh, while offering a choc-full of flavour and a neat finish.

Pairing

Perfect for enjoying during an Italian-style aperitivo, this wine also pairs especially well with seafood appetizers or fish-based pasta and rice dishes. It is a greatly refreshing and summery white wine.

Venezia Giulia Ribolla Gialla IGT “Vinnae” 2018 - Jermann (tappo stelvin): Why we like it

This fresh and balanced white wine is a true testament to the multi-faceted identity of the town Collio, whose location harbours the spirit of its Slovenian and Austrian neighbours while maintaining a sense of Friulian identity. Iermann’s 2014 “Vinnae” Venezia Giulia IGT white wine, whose name pays respect to the quaint farm country origins of the Iermann family, features an assemblage of grapes composed primarily of the Ribolla Gialla variety. It is fermented, in part, in Slavonian oak barrels and features an enjoyable mild to medium body that is richly acidic.
