Tasting Notes

Garnet red. An intense, initially fruity opening to the bouquet developing into olfactory scents of aromatic herbs, dog roses, vanilla, cinnamon and green pepper. Dry, robust and structured on the palate, characterised by a warm persistence reminiscent of bitter orange and liquorice.

Pairing

Ideal with mature cheeses and red meat dishes. Excellent with roast pork.
