Tasting Notes

Ruby red is the colour in the glass. Ripe berries open the entrance to the nose, then marked by hints of chocolate, coffee, tobacco and liquorice. The sip is full-bodied and consistent, well-presented in the tannic texture, fresh and with a long persistence.

Margaux AOC Grand Cru Classé 2023 - Château du Tertre (cassetta di legno 6 bottiglie): Why we like it

From a total of 52 hectares, this great wine of the important Bordeaux ‘Margaux’ appellation comes from old vines planted between 1961 and 1965. Harvesting is by hand and of selected grapes, with vinification in temperature-controlled wooden barrels and ageing in 45% new oak barrels for between 15 and 17 months. Margaux Grand Cru AOC ‘Château du Tertre’: A Bordeaux that is both majestic and fine.
