Tasting Notes

Dark ruby red, the nose showcases a real explosion of intensity and complexity. Notes of red fruit, currant and plum, are embellished with Mediterranean hints of myrtle, tobacco, sweet spices. The mouth is enveloping and full-bodied, engaging and very long. A wonderfully balanced, deep and reactive wine, infinite in participation and persistence.

“My Frappato was born from a dream that I believe I’ve always had. I wish to have you taste what I think, the land I work, the air I breathe, Vittoria in all its story, maybe even myself. I particularly love it because it’s the sum up of my Sicily, with its thousand faces. I love it because it’s difficult, sometimes sour, and hot-tempered, but extremely elegant. I thank him for bringing me back to Sicily, when many still continue to leave from here”.
