Château Giscours

Château Giscours exists since the 14th century as a defensive tower, but in the 1800s it became the wine estate we know today. It’s the AOC of Margaux in Haut-Médoc, and exactly in the municipalities of Labarde and Arsac. Here 165 hectares of vines include over forty different plots and are planted with cabernet sauvignon, merlot, cabernet franc and petit verdot. The vineyard is conducted in full respect of the environment and ecosystem, in a microclimate particularly suited to vines. A young and dynamic team derives, from fine and genuine grapes, labels that are the result of the union between ancestral traditions and modern winemaking technologies. Château Giscours wines age in high quality French oak barrels. These wines have always been appreciated by critics and connoisseurs, and are recognizable by their subtle taste-olfactory complexity, their sublime balance and refined purity.
