Tasting Notes

Intense ruby red colour. On the nose, initial notes of ripe raspberry, redcurrant and blackberry are followed by hints of mocha, graphite, leather and spices. The palate is generous and consistent, well-presented in the tannic texture, fresh and clean in the aftertaste.

‘Château Duhart-Milon has the characteristics of a thoroughbred Pauillac, and one can see the hand of the oenological team that it shares with the other Pauillac on the same estate: Château Lafite-Rothschild.
The character of this famous neighbour is fully discernible in the labels of Château Duhart-Milon, which are crafted with traditional techniques and painstaking care.
We like it precisely because it has a well-defined personality and obvious elegance. Nice to drink because it is a very correct and excellent Bordeaux. Nice to drink because it allows us to find ourselves in the glass, in some ways, a very close relative of Lafite.’
