Tasting Notes

On the nose we find a mix of red and blue fruit. Roundness and balance persist in an excellently executed wine. Lightness and finesse are its stylistic hallmark, together with readiness and brilliance.

For more than twenty years now, Château Angelus has been producing modern, dense wines of great formal perfection. An evolution carried out under the enlightened leadership of Hubert de Boüard, the man who has taken Angelus to the top of Bordeaux viticulture in a very short time. One of the fundamental steps in this ascent is certainly Carillon d'Angelus, born in 1987 and now no longer considered as a second wine, but as a great in its own right.

This bottle comes from private collections, restaurants, wine shops, or rare wines merchants. Before being put on sale, it has been carefully checked by the Tannico Team. However, after so many years, we cannot guarantee that the wine is still perfectly preserved. Tannico guarantees that the conditions of the bottle correspond exactly to the description on the product page. The sale of this bottle is consequently subject to the “seen and approved” clause. This bottle cannot be returned under any circumstances.
