DOMAINE DE TRÉVALLON

The Domaine de Trévallon is located on the northern slope of the Alpilles massif, in Saint-Étienne de Grès.

The history of the estate is closely linked to that of the Dürrbach family. It was Eloi, the son of the first owners, who, without any training in winemaking, began working the land to plant vines, spurred on by his father's conviction that these lands would produce good wine.
This was followed by a colossal effort to plant the vines in such harsh soil. The first vines date back to 1973, when 20 hectares of vineyards finally came to life, giving space to Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Marsanne and Roussanne.
Today, the blends of Domaine de Trévallon are truly unique. Cabernet Sauvignon, for example, blends beautifully with Syrah, and the two, in turn, combine with the limestone soil of the Alpilles to forge the distinctive personality of Trévallon wines.
However, the epic story of the Dürrbach family does not stop at wine, but rather deepens with art. René Dürrbach was passionate about art and was fortunate enough to become friends with some of the great names of Cubism, such as Albert Gleizer, Fernand Léger and Pablo Picasso.

Art is therefore omnipresent on the estate and the wine labels are no exception, with their distinctive graphics chosen to best represent each vintage.
