ALSACE

A border region with unique influences

Alsace, a strip of land historically contested between France and Germany, has transformed this dual influence into extraordinary wine-making wealth. Protected by the Vosges mountains, the vineyards enjoy a dry, sunny microclimate, while the varied soils—from granite to sandstone, limestone to clay—give the wines a distinctive mineral character.

Aromatic grape varieties and Grand Crus

Alsace's wine heritage is expressed through seven main grape varieties: Riesling with its vibrant acidity, the aromatic Gewürztraminer, the structured Pinot Gris, the elegant Pinot Blanc and Sylvaner, the versatile Muscat and the only red, Pinot Noir, which is constantly evolving in quality. The pinnacle of production is represented by the 51 Grand Crus, historic vineyards that best express the concept of terroir.

Leading producers

Our selection includes labels from the most prestigious producers: Zind-Humbrecht, a pioneer in biodynamics, and Schlumberger. A collection that represents the excellence of a region where tradition and innovation come together in wines of extraordinary elegance.
