Intense straw yellow, the bouquet offers clear aromas, mainly of peaches and apricots, which mingle with exotic fragrances of lychee, mango and passion fruit. On the palate it is rich in flavour, long, tactile and supple. A marked trace of acidity outlines its profile before closing with a very persistent finish.

Excellent for tasting completely when you are absolutely alone, the “Kolbenhof” of Hofstätter pairs well with shellfish, substantial fish dishes and foie gras.

Alto Adige Gewürztraminer DOC “Kolbenhof” of Hofstätter is a wine of great concentration which is created from a careful selection of Gewürztraminer grapes not far from Termeno. A plot of land considered to be one of the prestigious thanks to its micro-climate particularly favourable to the age of the vines. The ideal conditions for a white wine of great class and depth which is fermented at controlled temperatures and aged only in steel vats and on the finest lees.
